WorldNet has come a long way since its launch in 2007. With a combined 45 years of credit card industry experience, Billy Saunderson (Chairman), Will Byrne (CEO) and John Clarke (CTO) set about creating a payment processing company built for the future. At first the focus was on eCommerce and call centre solutions, but there was always an eager eye on creating solutions for the ever-developing mobile technologies sector.
In 2010 WorldNet launched the first Virtual Terminal iPhone application in Europe – in it’s third version now, WorldNet Mobile provides secure mobile Chip & PIN processing functionality – anywhere, any time. WorldNet Mobile combined with eCommerce and call centre solutions enables WorldNet to provide omni-channel payment processing to merchants, partners and payment institutions on three continents.
